With a lot of tough competition, you can imagine how pristine and breathtaking a winning beach has to be. It takes up a seven-kilometre stretch of Western Australia’s ‘coral coast’. Sturdy beach shelters provide shade on the sand and there’s a long jetty.
 
Tranquil 3 Mile Beach begins here too, and is perfect for contemplative long walks.
Enjoy the most relaxing of beach holidays, meandering through sheltered waters, rock pools and waves along the reefs. There are also scenic four-wheel driving opportunities.

Geraldton is one hour away, with its own town beach, and plenty of exciting water activities including jetboating and tubing. Geraldton also offers a wide variety of restaurants and cafes with all sorts of cuisine, including that all-important fresh local seafood.
